A consultant offering services for say, Rs 50,000 and charged a service tax of 15%

Then say, he would buy office supplies for Rs. 20,000 paying 5% as VAT
(Rs 20,000 *5% = Rs 1,000).
He had to pay Rs 7,500 output service tax without getting any deduction of Rs 1,000 VAT already paid on stationery.
His total outflow is Rs 8,500.
Under GST

Communication
NSDL forwards the application details to ITD after digitization of the form submitted.
In case of application for allotment of PAN (Form 49A), a new PAN is allotted by ITD. NSDL prints the PAN card after allotment of PAN by ITD and dispatches the same along with an allotment letter to the respective applicant.
In case of 'Request for New PAN Card or/and Changes or Correction in PAN data' the application request is forwarded to ITD for update of the database and after confirmation from ITD, a new PAN card is printed and dispatched to the applicant.
All the communications are sent at the address mentioned as 'address for communication' in the form. Applicants, specifying valid e-mail ID in the application, are informed about the new PAN through e-mail in addition to the PAN allotment letter. Import and Export Licensing Procedures in India
india’s import and export system is governed by the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act of 1992 (full text) and India’s Export Import (EXIM) Policy.
Import and export of all goods are free, except for the items regulated by the EXIM policy or any other law currently in force. Registration with regional licensing authority is a prerequisite for the import and export of goods. The customs will not allow for clearance of goods unless the importer has obtained an import and export code (IEC) from the regional authority.
Import Policy
The Indian Trade Classification (ITC)-Harmonized System (HS) classifies goods into three categories:
Goods not specified in the above mentioned categories can be freely imported without any restriction, if the importer has obtained a valid IEC. There is no need to obtain any import license or permission to import such goods. Most of the goods can be freely imported in India.
Licensed (Restricted) Items
Restricted items can be imported only after obtaining an import license from the relevant regional licensing authority. The goods covered by the license shall be disposed of in the manner specified by the license authority, which should be clearly indicated in the license itself. The list of restricted goods is provided in ITC (HS). An import license is valid for 24 months for capital goods, and 18 months for all other goods.
Canalized Items
Canalized goods are items which may only be imported using specific procedures or methods of transport. The list of canalized goods can be found in the ITC (HS). Goods in this category can be imported only through canalizing agencies. The main canalized items are currently petroleum products, bulk agricultural products, such as grains and vegetable oils, and some pharmaceutical products.
Prohibited Items
These are the goods listed in ITC (HS) which are strictly prohibited on all import channels in India. These include wild animals, tallow fat and oils of animal origin, animal rennet, and unprocessed ivory.

Restricted Goods

MCD Health Trade License Delhi is a mandatory compliance for the trader, manufacturer and Restaurant owner to work in Delhi State without which heavy penalty will be levied and may seize or close the business premises as per the rules and regulations of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). MCD Health Trade License Delhi also ensures to the citizen of the state about hygiene of the business place, whether rules and regulations have been followed or not as per MCD, regulates and monitors the trade activities.

First, the fresh trade license will be provided by the issuing authority with the validity of one financial year i.e 01 April 20XX to 31 March 20XX. After expiry of the validity for the first year, the businessmen can renew the trade license for upto 5 years maximum. All the government fees and professional fees will be same for renewal of trade license / Health trade license. If the trade license is not renewed within time limits as mentioned by the municipal corporation, then heavy penalties will be imposed and the proper officer may also seize the business premises.

As per rules and regulations of Municipal Corporation, every trader running their businesses in the jurisdiction of MCD, shall mandatory have the MCD trade license / health trade license and only after having the trade license from MCD Authority, the trader can perform the trading activities in the municipal jurisdiction of the state. If any businessmen performing the trading activities without taking the trade license from MCD, then the business is liable for heavy penalties and challans and the authorized officer may seize the officer due to not having the proper trade license or performing illegal trading activities or trading activities is carried on from unauthorized place.
So it is therefore necessary to carry on the trading business of any type of activity after getting the proper MCD trade license or health trade license otherwise heavy penalties will be imposed and seizure of
business also.
